Mother's Day Cocktail Recipes

Mother’s Day is for raising a glass — to the school-run superheroes, the snack providers, the advice givers, the memory makers, and the mums who somehow do it all.

So this year? We’re not just pouring drinks. We’re making them pretty 

Here are four fabulous Mother’s Day sips — complete with fun names and easy mixing instructions — that are perfect for brunch tables, garden gatherings, and cosy evening toasts.

 

 1. The Mummosa Royale

A blush pink twist on the classic mimosa

Ingredients:

Chilled prosecco or champagne

  • Fresh blood orange juice (for that dreamy blush tone)
  • 1 tsp elderflower liqueur (optional but luxe)
  • Fresh strawberry or edible flower to garnish

 Mixing Instructions:

Fill a champagne flute halfway with fresh blood orange juice.

Add a teaspoon of elderflower liqueur.

Slowly top with chilled prosecco.

Garnish with a strawberry slice or delicate edible flower.

 Serve at a Mother’s Day brunch with croissants, fresh berries and lots of compliments.

 

 2. The Berry Special Mum

Fresh, fruity and just the right amount of sass

For the mum who deserves something sweet… with a little kick.

 Ingredients:

  • 50ml pink gin
  • Handful fresh raspberries
  • 15ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15ml sugar syrup (or honey)
  • Soda water
  • Mint sprig

 Mixing Instructions:

Muddle raspberries in a shaker.

Add pink gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup.

Fill shaker with ice and shake well.

Strain into a coupe or wine glass over fresh ice.

Top with soda water.

Garnish with mint and extra berries.

3. The Golden Hour Goddess

 

A chic, citrusy prosecco fizz

Inspired by that magical golden glow at the end of the day — when Mum can finally sit down.



 Ingredients:

  • 25ml peach schnapps
  • 25ml fresh orange juice
  • Chilled prosecco
  • Orange peel twist
  • Optional: gold sugar for rim


 Mixing Instructions:

If using, rim glass with orange juice and dip into gold sugar.

Add peach schnapps and orange juice to the glass.

Top generously with prosecco.

Stir gently and garnish with orange peel.


 

 4. The Mum-To-Be Sparkle (Mocktail)

Because glowing mums deserve fizz too

No alcohol, all sparkle ✨


 Ingredients:

  • 75ml cloudy apple juice
  • 25ml elderflower cordial
  • Sparkling water or alcohol-free prosecco
  • Fresh apple slice or cucumber ribbon


 Mixing Instructions:


Add apple juice and elderflower cordial to a flute.

Top with sparkling water or alcohol-free fizz.

Stir gently.

Garnish with a thin apple slice or elegant cucumber ribbon.

Fresh, floral and totally celebration-worthy.
